Can You Help East Lake High's Marching Band?

You probably already know that the East Lake High School Silver Sound Marching Band is top notch. The band was state champion (Class 1A) for seven consecutive years. But, what you may not know is the band could use a bit of help from the community.

Our pals at East Lake High say this summer's band camp was a huge success, and the band is now expanding under Director John Fulton. They need some more equipment to go along with the expansion, and these equipment needs can't be met with their current budget, according to Sue Fisher, who is in charge of publicity for bands at East Lake High School.

The band will be performing at this Friday's preseason football game, which will be held at East Lake High School.
