Happy Labor Day from Fire Commissioner Candidate, Tom McQueen

In my campaign to be elected as East Lake Fire Commissioner this November, it’s been a privilege and a pleasure for me to meet many of our district’s residents.

Listening to their ideas and opinions always causes me to pause and thank God for the opportunity to live in such a wonderful community.

In a world where emails and texts are often the preferred method of communication, it’s so refreshing and enlightening to make time and have a brief conversation with a neighbor.

As we celebrate this Labor Day, I want to thank those of you who have welcomed me into your homes and graciously offered me your support and encouragement.

I also want to express my gratitude to East Lake firefighters who are supporting me in my campaign. My personal mission in life has always been to know people, to engage people, and to uplift people. And if East Lake residents entrust me with their vote for Fire Commissioner in the upcoming election, I’ll work relentlessly to serve you and your families while accomplishing the mission of East Lake Fire Rescue.
