No Bomb On Keystone Road, Just Lunch, Deputies Say
A suspicious package was found near East Lake's Fire Station No. 58 Monday morning.

EAST LAKE, FL - A suspicious package found near East Lake Fire Station No. 58 Monday morning turned out to be nothing more than someone’s lunch, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office says.
The unsettling discovery at 3280 Keystone Road forced a closing of the road in both directions during rush hour as Hillsborough County’s bomb squad came out to investigate. The road had reopened in both directions as of 10:34 a.m. Monday, deputies said in an email to media.
The sheriff’s office hasn’t said what was packed in the lunch.

The scare is the second one in recent days in Pinellas County. The discovery of a suspicious package at Largo Mall on Saturday forced an evacuation of the busy shopping center. That package also turned out to be no cause for alarm.
