The Building Bridges Coffeehouse winds up its first season with Irish singer-songwriter Brendan Nolan, who will perform traditional Irish songs as well as originals and familiar tunes. Open seating, refreshments available, plenty of parking, accessible.
Nolan has called St. Pete Beach his home since 1993, however he was born in Dublin, Ireland where he honed his songwriting skills and guitar chops playing in pubs. He moved to Canada and performed at numerous major festivals there. He’s produced eight albums, and his interest in history as well as his musical talent makes him a perfect host for tours to his Native Ireland.
In Florida, he has been featured several times on WMNF "Live" in Tampa and has played at many festivals here - among them, the Sertoma Ranch Celtic Festival, Florida Folk Festival, Gamble Rogers Fest, and Wings and Strings. Nolan has been a headliner on three occasions at the North Texas Irish Festival and also played the Milwaukee Irish Festival, Jackson Mississippi Celtic Fest, Savannah, and Kansas City, among others.
