🎨 Let’s show some love for Ms. Gonzalez! 🎨

If your child has had Ms. Gonzalez as an art teacher at Progress Village, you probably already know why she is so loved by our students. ❤️

She is kind, gentle, warm, and encouraging — the kind of teacher who makes kids feel comfortable being creative and gives them the confidence to put their work out into the world. She encourages our students to participate in local, state, and national art competitions and serves as our PTSA Reflections artistic lead, helping our students share their creativity beyond the classroom.

She also spends her own time applying for grants and finding new and creative opportunities for our kids. And if you've been through the new theatre at Progress Village, you've likely seen some of her artwork  on the walls or the art work of her amazing students displayed in the North Gallery of the new theatre.

Now, her beautiful mural work from the past five years at HP Performance Center / Kiwi Volleyball is nominated for Best New Mural in Creative Loafing's Best of the Bay! 🎨
