FishHawk West Community Seeks Support for 8th Annual Independence Day Fireworks Show

FISHHAWK, FL — With just 15 days remaining until the 8th Annual FishHawk West Fireworks Show, organizers are calling on the community to help close a $3,600 fundraising gap and ensure another memorable Independence Day celebration for local families.

The annual fireworks display, organized and funded through community donations, has become a cherished tradition for residents throughout FishHawk West and the surrounding area. For the past eight years, community volunteers Scott Farrell and Dan Kast have dedicated countless hours to planning and coordinating the event.

To date, organizers have raised $2,400 toward their $6,000 fundraising goal. While the show will proceed as planned, additional donations will determine the size and duration of the display. Organizers hope to provide the 15- to 20-minute fireworks experience that residents have come to expect, rather than a shortened six-minute show.

"This event has always been about bringing neighbors together and creating a special Fourth of July tradition for families," organizers said. "Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps make the show bigger and better for the entire community."

Residents and local businesses are encouraged to contribute and share fundraising information throughout the community.
