Fossil Valley Girl Scouts Celebrate a Magical Night at the 2025 Me & My Guy “Gingerbread Gala”

Lithia, FL — December 2025 — Fossil Valley Girl Scouts hosted its beloved annual Me & My Guy Dance on Saturday, December 6th, welcoming more than 150 girls and their special guests for a sweet and sparkling evening themed the Gingerbread Gala. The event, held at Grace Church in Lithia, delivered a night filled with laughter, creativity, and unforgettable memories.

This year’s dance was planned and organized by Troop 3551 under the leadership of Event Chair Alexa Loprino, who delivered a beautifully executed first-time event full of warmth, detail, and holiday magic.

The Gingerbread Gala featured five interactive games, exciting prizes and raffles, a festive ornament coloring station, delicious gingerbread cookie decorating, a lively DJ and dance floor, and a charming Photo Booth surrounded by a stunning custom backdrop created by Gloria R. Sanchez.

Guests enjoyed an impressive grazing table and a variety of treats while rotating through hands-on activity stations and posing for keepsake photos. Smiles filled the room as Girl Scouts bonded with their dads, grandfathers, uncles, and other special adult male role models.

Alexa Loprino received overwhelming praise for her leadership and creativity.
“It is unbelievable to see a vision unfold with everyone helping and donating their time, especially on a Saturday night,” Loprino shared. “This was my first event I’ve ever hosted, and I am VERY thankful to have done it with such an amazing, supportive service unit… It was a VERY rewarding experience.”

The evening also included a lively raffle that raised funds for Fossil Valley Girl Scout Scholarships, with generous donations from:
MOSI, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Glazer Children’s Museum, Osprey Observer’s Dine Local partners (Vampire Penguin, Sunflower Café, Milkshake Factory, La Septima Café, Graze Craze, Liang’s Bistro, Chick-fil-A), Top Golf, Tampa Bay Rowdies, and additional prize donors.

Fossil Valley extends a heartfelt thank you to Troop 3551, all volunteers, older Girl Scout helpers, leaders, and community partners who contributed their time, talents, and resources to bring the 2025 Gingerbread Gala to life.

With music, magic, and gingerbread fun around every corner, this year’s Me & My Guy event once again proved to be one of the sweetest Girl Scout traditions in the community.
