Fossil Valley Girl Scouts Collect Supplies for Owl’s Nest Sanctuary
Troop 33516 of the Fossil Valley Service Unit of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida (GSWCF) is collecting supplies for Owl's Nest Sanctuary
Riverview/Lithia, FL — January 2026 — Troop 33516, part of the Fossil Valley Service Unit of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida (GSWCF), is excited to announce their January Community Service Project: a collection drive to support Owl’s Nest Sanctuary, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing Florida’s native wildlife. Operated entirely by volunteers, the Sanctuary relies on community donations to continue its vital work.
Community members are invited to contribute supplies, which can be dropped off at the following porch drop-off locations:
- Riverview: 12024 Vermillion Way
- FishHawk Starling: 15927 Persimmon Grove Drive
The collection deadline is Sunday, February 8, 2026. For those unable to drop off items, pickup arrangements can be coordinated by contacting Amanda at (813) 453-9752 or Katherine at (813) 786-1522.
