Fossil Valley Girl Scouts Kick Off Cookie Season with High-Energy 2026 Cookie Rally

Lithia, FL — January 2026 — The Fossil Valley Service Unit of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida (GSWCF) successfully launched the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Season with a fun, fast-paced Cookie Rally held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Grace at Lithia United Methodist Church.

The rally brought together Girl Scouts from multiple levels for an engaging afternoon focused on building confidence, skills, and excitement for the upcoming cookie season. Girls rotated through interactive stations designed to reinforce goal setting, practice their cookie pitch, learn safety and money management skills, and celebrate the start of the season through games, activities, and cookie tastings. Each participant received a commemorative fun patch.

The event was made possible through the dedication of Fossil Valley volunteers, including experienced Girl Scout adults and older Girl Scouts who served as rotation guides, station hosts, and tasting coordinators. Their leadership ensured smooth transitions between stations and a positive, high-energy experience for all attendees.

Fossil Valley Service Unit leadership extends a special thank you to Jennifer Lemar Gordon and Jessica King, whose exceptional planning and behind-the-scenes efforts helped make the rally a success. Additional gratitude is extended to all volunteers who generously gave their time and expertise to support the girls.
