Girl Scout Troop 33521 Raises Funds to Support Silver Award Projects

Girl Scout Troop 33521 is inviting the community to support their Silver Award projects through a special Panda Express fundraiser on Friday. Twenty-eight percent (28%) of all qualifying sales will be donated directly to the troop when orders are placed through the fundraiser link. Orders can be placed up to five days in advance for pickup or delivery.

The Girl Scout Silver Award is the highest award a Cadette Girl Scout can earn. The award requires girls to identify a community issue, develop a sustainable solution, and lead a project that creates a lasting impact.

Troop 33521 is currently working on two Silver Award projects:

Oyster Oasis focuses on environmental conservation through the construction and installation of Vertical Oyster Gardens (VOGs). The project educates the public about the importance of oysters in improving water quality, providing habitat for marine life, and supporting healthy coastal ecosystems.

Daffy's Great Adventure is a children's educational project designed to teach young readers about wildlife conservation, environmental stewardship, and the challenges faced by animals in their natural habitats through an engaging story and interactive learning activities.

Community members can support these projects by ordering lunch or dinner through Panda Express.
