Girl Scouts Troop 33521 Launches Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser to Support Leadership Projects and Community

Girl Scouts Troop 33521 has launched a four-day Double Good Popcorn Pop-Up Fundraiser running from June 23 through June 29 to support troop activities, service projects, and long-term leadership development opportunities.

During this time, supporters can purchase gourmet popcorn through the troop’s virtual storefront, with 50% of all sales directly benefiting the girls.

Funds raised will support multiple troop initiatives, including this year’s Silver Award project, the highest award available to Cadette Girl Scouts. The Silver Award project is a girl-led service initiative focused on creating meaningful, lasting impact in the community through leadership, teamwork, and education. Proceeds will also help prepare for the troop’s future Gold Award journey and contribute toward long-term savings for an international trip planned for when the girls graduate high school, providing an opportunity for global learning and cultural experience.

“This fundraiser helps our girls turn their ideas into action,” said troop leadership. “Every purchase supports leadership growth, service learning, and meaningful opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom.”

The Double Good fundraiser is fully contact-free—orders are placed online and shipped directly to customers’ homes.
