Progress Village PTSA Launches Online Silent Auction to Support Students and Staff

TAMPA, FL — The Progress Village Middle Magnet School of the Arts PTSA has launched its online silent auction, giving community members the opportunity to support local students while bidding on experiences, entertainment, dining packages, and unique prizes from businesses across the Tampa Bay area.

The auction is open now and closes on May 28, 2026 at 9:30 p.m. EST, with all proceeds benefiting students, teachers, and staff at Progress Village Middle Magnet School of the Arts, a Title I arts magnet school in Hillsborough County.

Funds raised through the auction help support teacher appreciation initiatives, staff morale programs, field trip assistance, student activities, and other programs that enhance the school experience throughout the year.

"This auction represents more than just fundraising," said the Progress Village PTSA. "It's a reflection of what can happen when local businesses, community partners, families, and supporters come together to invest in our students."

In addition to raising funds, the auction highlights the generosity of numerous local businesses and organizations that donated prizes in support of public education and the arts.

The PTSA has experienced significant growth over the past year, with membership increasing by more than 65 percent and expanded engagement through its website, newsletters, social media channels, and family outreach efforts.

Community members do not need to be affiliated with the school to participate. Friends, family members, alumni, local residents, and supporters of public education are encouraged to bid and share the auction with others.
