$126M Mega Millions Prize Claimed By Lee County Woman: Florida Lottery
A Bonita Springs woman is Florida's third-ever Mega Millions jackpot winner after claiming her $126M share of Oct. 14 jackpot.

BONITA SPRINGS, FL — A Bonita Springs woman is Florida’s third-ever Mega Millions jackpot winner after claiming her share of the $494 million jackpot in the Oct. 14 drawing, according to a Florida Lottery news release.
Pamela Baker, 44, the managing member of Pineapple Trust, chose to receive her prize as a one-time, lump-sum payment of about $126 million.

On Oct. 14, the Mega Millions winning numbers were 9, 22, 26, 41 and 44 and the Mega Ball was 19.
Baker purchased her jackpot-winning Quick Pick ticket at 7-Eleven at 2980 Colonial Blvd. in Fort Myers. The retailer received a $100,000 bonus commission for selling the ticket.

Hers was one of two jackpot winning tickets in the drawing. The other ticket was sold in California, according to a Mega Millions news release.
"The Florida Lottery is thrilled to congratulate our third Mega Millions jackpot winner," Secretary John Davis said. "This series of jackpot rollovers was not only life-changing for this player, it also allowed us to contribute more than $25 million to education that will greatly benefit our state's students and schools."
Since joining Mega Millions in 2013, the game has generated more than $1.01 billion for education in Florida and has awarded more than $978.4 million in prizes to over 69.4 million players.
The next Mega Millions drawing takes place Friday at 11 p.m. EST with an estimated $84 million jackpot.
