MA Woman Visiting Southwest Florida Claims $5M Prize In FL Lottery Scratch-Off Game

FORT MYERS, FL — A Massachusetts woman claimed a $5 million top prize playing the $5,000,000 Cashword scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said in a news release.

Ann Margaret Woodworth, 54, of Holbrook, Massachusetts chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3.915 million from Florida Lottery’s Fort Myers office.

She purchased her winning ticket from Rightway Foods, located at 2390 South McCall Road in Englewood. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The $5,000,000 Cashword, a $20 game, launched in May 2020 and features eight top prizes of $5 million and 24 second-tier prizes of $1 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.91.
