Bicycles banned from Times Square in Fort Myers Beach.

No more bicycle riding through Times Square near the pier as of April 2019.

People who have visited the Times Square area near the pier (where you will see the clock tower, plus places like Plaka, Dairy Queen, La Ola, and a dozen other similar places) in Fort Myers Beach within the past month have likely seen the new white painted areas with the slashed-out bicycle symbol on them. Yes, that is correct, as of April 2019, you can no longer ride your bicycle through Times Square anymore. The city of Fort Myers Beach passed a new law banning bicycles from that entire area in April 2019. Anyone who rides a bicycle through Times Square now faces certain arrest and prosecution.
