Grumpy Goat Coffee Roastery

Grumpy Goat Coffee Company, located in Bonita Springs, Florida was founded in 2016 and makes fresh roasted, fully traceable, single origin gourmet grade coffee both exciting and approachable. Brian Abernathy is the founder and master roaster who has been featured on WGCU National Public Radio affiliate, Revive magazine and other media. Brian's collaborations with chefs, brewmasters and food industry partners have resulted in multiple award winning Grumpy Goat coffee inspired flavors and recipes.

In addition to one pound bags, coffee shoppers can now order six ounce bags of beans, roasted to order. The six ounce option is available in any of the several origins available and can be ordered in either medium or dark roast. Customers may select either whole beans or request them ground for any brew method.

Grumpy Goat Coffee also has a cold brew coffee product line. The Roastery takes the same craft approach with its cold brew process (also known as cold press coffee) as with its coffee roasting. Coffee beans used in Grumpy Goat cold brew are an arabica bean grown at high altitude and have a minimum 86 cupping score. The coffee beans are roasted and then steeped for 24 hours in cold filtered water. There are no additives. Compared to iced coffee which is brewed hot coffee that is then chilled, cold brew is a great option for coffee lovers with gastro-intestinal sensitivities because there is no heat introduced to the coffee beans which nearly eliminates the extraction of acids. The fresh steeped cold bis available in 16 ounce bottles, half gallon and full gallon sizes.
