Grumpy Goat Coffee’s next Wandering Goat event is Saturday, June 27, 3 - 7 p.m. at Riptide Brewing, 28120 Hunters Ridge Blvd, Bonita Springs. The event continues a new direction for the annual Wandering Goat summer series, shifting the focus of the popular community events toward building awareness about the Bonita Estero Rail Trail (BERT) initiative. Golf Cart Monkey is sponsoring all day free play on Riptide’s twenty pinball tables.&nbsp;

Three craft coffee beer collaborations between Riptide and Grumpy Goat will be available. Grumpy is a coffee blonde ale using Grumpy Goat’s Colombian dark roast beans; Before the Sun is a coffee amber lager conditioned on Grumpy Goat’s Mexican dark roast beans; and Polar Night is Nitro Coffee Irish Stout using Grumpy Goat’s Ethiopian dark roast beans.

The event is open to the public. Attendees can meet their local master coffee roaster, craft brewer and other artisan food and beverage experts in a casual, family and pet friendly setting.

For the past four years, the Wandering Goat series has been known for bringing together local food and beverage artisans to offer complimentary tastings while driving summer traffic to small businesses during the quieter off-season. In 2026, the series will take on a broader civic purpose - serving as a platform to inform, engage, and mobilize Bonita Springs residents around funding a transformative community project.

This year’s Wandering Goat events will spotlight BERT’s mission to convert 11.4 miles of inactive Seminole Gulf Railway corridor into a multi-use walking and biking trail.&nbsp; The project aims to enhance connectivity, promote outdoor recreation, and contribute to the long-term quality of life in Bonita Springs.

Bay Street Yard is hosting its annual Fourth of July party on Saturday, July 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. in the heart of downtown Fort Myers.&nbsp; 
The casual-yet-upscale outdoor entertainment venue is pulling out all the patriotic stops with festive food and drink specials – including red, white and blue jello shots – live music, a dunk tank and street-side grilling by Paradise Hospitality Group, who will be serving up hot dogs and burgers along Bay Street. Guests can also savor full menus from Bay Street Yard and Paradise Hospitality Group’s onsite food truck concepts. 
Party-goers can enjoy live entertainment by The Common Criminals from 5 to 9 p.m. and DJ Ian Kelley from 10 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The outdoor destination is just steps from the Caloosahatchee River for views of the annual downtown Fort Myers fireworks display. 
General admission is free, and the venue offers seating for over 300 guests with two full-service bars and a variety of outdoor games such as cornhole, ping pong and more.&nbsp;
