City Of Fort Myers Conducting Housing And Economic Opportunity Survey

The deadline for residents to complete the survey is Sept. 30.

The City of Fort Myers is conducting a community needs survey as a part of the process of developing its 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan (October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2025) and FY 2020-2021 Annual Action Plan to detail the proposed use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program funds.

Program funds can be used to provide housing, create suitable living environments and expand economic opportunities, principally for low to moderate-income persons residing within the city limits.

The survey opens September 1 and ends September 30, 2020. Community member participation in the survey will help prioritize the use of HUD funds within city boundaries.
