City Of Fort Myers Solid Waste Service Suspended On Monday Due To Tropical Storm Eta

Regular household service for Monday and Tuesday collections will be delayed one day.

The City of Fort Myers has suspended residential trash and recycling collection on Monday, November 9 due to anticipated wind and rain from Tropical Storm Eta. Remember to remove and store all objects outside of the home that are in danger of blowing away in the storm, including any lids, cans and carts.

Regular household service for Monday and Tuesday collections will be delayed one day. Monday service will be on Tuesday, and Tuesday service take place on Wednesday (November 11, Veterans Day holiday). Thursday and Friday residential service will occur on normally scheduled days.
