During the closure of the courtesy dock, boaters may use the shoreline on the left (west) side of the boat ramp to load and offload safely.
“We recognize the inconvenience this closure may cause to people planning to use the boat ramp,” said Stewart Gilmore, Natural Resources Management Section Chief at the South Florida Operations Office in Clewiston. “However, the safety of the guests at our recreation areas is our top priority. We will work to reopen the courtesy dock as soon as repairs have been made and it is safe to reopen to the public.”
