Opened by the Gulf Coast Symphony in January 2021, our Music & Arts Community Center (or MACC) is located off Daniels Parkway, just 2 miles from I-75 Exit 131 at 13411 Shire Lane, Fort Myers, Fl

This year the Gulf Coast Chamber Orchestra will present 12 concerts at the MACC, featuring the great symphonic masters to the diverse voices of today’s best composers. We will be collaborating with the Gulfshore Ballet twice, and perform with the Fort Myers Symphonic Mastersingers, as well as present two amazing young pianists.

We kick off our 27th season with the Gulf Coast Chamber Orchestra’s salute to women composers on Saturday, October 9 with music by Joan Tower, Vivian Fung, Libby Larsen and Florence Price!

JAZZ at the MACC

Featuring the Gulf Coast Jazz Collective lead by Artistic Director and Drummer Paul Gavin, this series brings some of the best Jazz artists to Southwest Florida to explore jazz unique to our community.

November 18 – The Music of Art Blakey
December 16 – Swinging Holiday Jazz with guests saxophonist Valerie Gillespie and trombonist Herb Bruce
January 13 – Jazz Originals
February 10 – Latin Jazz with Grammy winner José Valentino
March 10 – Women of Jazz starring Aisha de Haas

This brand new series brings Tony-award winners and Broadway stars to present an intimate cabaret performance filled with personal stories and song.

FRESH VOICES

An Indie Music Experience.
This brand new concert experience introduces singer-songwriters and their unique storytelling to the MACC.

FRESH VOICES kicks off October 22 with songstress Angie K with her fresh blend of modern and Latin country. Joining her is Karla Davis who has performed on the stages of NBC’s The Voice, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the historic Grand Ole Opry.

On November 19 Ryleigh Modig, fresh from her 2021 appearance on The Voice is joined by American Idol’s Paul McDonald.
