Breathing for Health and Longevity – Online (Ages 12+)
Mondays, November 1 – 22 • Kick off the holiday season with a gift to yourself! Prepare for the hectic pace of the holiday season by bringing some peace to your body and your mind with this Breathing Techniques class. In a nutshell – Breathing Techniques for Health and Longevity will rejuvenate your vital organs, oxygenating and alkalizing tissues on a cellular level allowing you to feel better, body and soul.

Collage and Mixed Media (Ages 16+)
Mondays, November 1 – 22 • In this four week course, students will be exposed to various mixed media techniques with an emphasis on collage. This will be a fun and experimental class for anyone who wants to try but doesn’t know how to go about it. It will also have relevance for the seasoned artist who wants to try something different.
Early Morning Tai Chi – Outdoor Class
Thursdays, November 4 – December 2 • Tai Chi exercise is appropriate for all ages and any skill level. Learn to move smoothly and efficiently with grace, suppleness, balance and good posture. Learn to relax your body and open your energy pathways. Gently build your strength, flexibility and mental clarity. Boost your immune system. Practicing Tai Chi is a gift to yourself that will help you improve overall, your mind, body and spirit. No experience necessary.
Introduction to SoulCollage® (Ages 16+)
Friday, November 5 • SoulCollage® is a contemplative and insightful process of self-discovery. Using simple tools – scissors, glue, magazine images, and mat board – you create cards that are uniquely yours. This process honors your own time, pace, inner-language and spirituality.
Playing with Pastels Workshop (Ages 16+)
Saturday, November 6 • This Informative, fun and hands-on workshop will introduce you to dry pastels and their unique and vibrant qualities, as well as the different papers and techniques to launch you into developing into a devoted pastel artist. This is the place for newcomers to pastels, or those wanting to refresh their skills.
Beginning Polymer Clay Workshop (Ages 13+) – Onsite
Thursdays, November 11 & 18 • This 2 day workshop will focus on the basics of handling polymer clay. Students will learn how to condition, blend and use creative techniques to make beautiful designs (canes) for earrings, sculptures or little creatures
The Surprise Glories of Viking Art – Online Art Lecture
Thursday, November 11 • The Vikings established the world’s first democratic government in Iceland (after the Isle of Man), and from their trading journeys embellished their lives with fine jewelry, carvings and architecture – ideas borrowed from the many cultures they came into contact with. This lecture will look at their art and in so doing bring about a re-evaluation of their contributions to the world of art.
Abstract Painting Mini Workshop (Ages 18+)
Saturday, November 13 & 20 • Take a journey through different aspects of abstract painting and find what works for you as an artist. Mila demonstrates painting intuitively by tapping into emotions instead of using recognizable imagery. This practical, fun, and process-oriented workshop will guide you to confidence, clarity and freedom of expression in your art. If you’re looking to uncover and develop what’s unique about YOUR artistic voice, or to loosen up your art, that’s what this workshop is all about.
A Potpourri of Legal Issues for the Visual Artist
Saturday, November 13 • Practical advice about artist-as-businessperson. What happens to your art after your death? Should you incorporate? What can a buyer do with your artwork? How do you successfully coordinate with other artists on legal matters? This and more from an experienced creative arts attorney in a fast-paced, entertaining workshop.
Palette Knife Painting – Onsite, Two Day Workshop
Workshop, November 19 & 20 • This popular and information-packed workshop is designed to give a good foundation for bold, direct palette knife painting. The workshop accommodates beginners to advanced painters. All participants can expect to produce at least one painting.
