Almost, Maine presented by Alliance Youth Theatre
Performances November 18 – 21 • One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.

In this 3 class series your child will create hand-made gifts in the first 2 sessions, then make wrapping paper and cards in the last. At the end of the series your child will bring home 2 unique, wrapped gifts to share with loved ones for the holidays.

Workshop, December 11 • This six-hour introductory workshop provides a solid understanding of important basic watercolor techniques and theory for beginner watercolorists and those who feel they want a “refresher” course.
Holiday Outdoor Movie Double Feature: Elf and Christmas Vacation
Sunday, December 19 • Pack your lawn chair and blankets for a merry little movie night! This outdoor double feature on December 19 will feature Elf at 6 p.m. and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation at 8 p.m. Tickets are required for this event, but children ages 4 and under are free.
Reiko and Friends Outdoor Holiday Concert
Monday, December 20 • Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and park yourself on our festival grounds for a special evening orchestral performance by Reiko Niiya, former concertmaster of the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra. Reiko will be joined on stage with 10 of her musician friends for a family-fun, festive and free concert!
Off the Wall Street Art (Ages 12 – 18)
Thursdays, January 6 – 27 • Using traditional media, students will explore the contemporary field of street art (typography, character design, environmental interaction, etc.) creating pieces that build upon classic art techniques.

Each and every Saturday • Our outdoor farmer’s market is loaded with local produce, artisanal foods, edible and landscape plants, yoga on the lawn, live music, art, one-of-a-kind gifts, backyard farming workshops and all the good flavors and good vibes you can fit into your Saturday morning. Plus, there’s plenty of shade, camaraderie and community – the perfect setting to enjoy a bite and relax! Our weekly market is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each and every Saturday, year-round and rain or shine.
