Lee County School Board Member Sworn In As FSBA President-Elect
Chris Patricca will serve in that role for the next year while also continuing to represent District 3 on the local school board.

Lee County School Board member Chris Patricca was recently sworn in as President-Elect of the Florida School Board Association. She will serve in that role for the next year while also continuing to represent District 3 on the Lee County School Board.

Patricca served as FSBA Vice President during the 2019/2020 school year. The entire slate of FSBA officers for the 2020/2021 school year were approved in a unanimous vote during a virtual meeting with school board members from around the state. The new officers are:
- Jane Goodwin, President, Sarasota County
- Chris Patricca, President-Elect, Lee County
- Thomas Kennedy, Vice President, Citrus County
- Wendy Atkinson, Treasurer, Charlotte County
- Tim Weisheyer, Immediate Past President, Osceola County
Patricca was elected to represent District 3 on the Lee County School Board in November 2016. In November 2018 she was selected by her fellow board members for a one-year term as Vice Chair. Her current term expires in November.
