North Port Wrestlers at Southeastern University AAU meet

Solid wrestling season continues

Wrestlers representing North Port Youth Wrestling Club continued to compete well at the AAU wrestling Hunger Games meet at Southeastern University on Saturday January 27, 2018 in Lakeland Florida.

The wrestlers who compteed were:

District 7A
Kaiden Ballinger-70 pounds, 6th grade, 11 years old.
Went 2-3. Team was undefeated and took gold

District 7B
CJ Kemble-74 pounds, 6th grade, 11 years old. Went 2-3.
Austin Nappi-78 pounds, 5th grade, 10 years old. Went 0-5.
Owen Nappi- 82 & 86 pounds, 3rd grade, 8 years old. Went 0-5.
Dominic Joyce- 128 pounds, 7th grade, 13 years old. Went 1-5.
Team lost some close ones and finished 2-3.

District 8
Vincent Donatelle-weighs 138, wrestled 150. 6th grade, 13 years old. Went 3-2

Wrestling Coaches Dillon Ritchie, Mark Kemble, John Joyce, Brad Ballinger and Steve Nappi
were very proud of the efforts and success of all of the wrestlers who competed at Southeastern University.

The North Port Wrestling Club has approximately 30 active wrestlers with the program growing each year. with efforts of the wrestlers, coaches and the support of the parents and families.
