In consultation with health officials, the District has mandated the use of masks in an effort to promote the health and safety of our students and staff. Disposable masks will be provided by the District to those that need one. The Community Mask Drive is the result of specific requests to collect and distribute new, reusable cloth masks.
“We helped to organize this drive at the request of board members and community members who wanted to support students as they return to school,” says Community Engagement Coordinator Adam Molloy. “We know that wearing masks is one of the many things that will make school different this year, and this is just one way we can come together as a community to show our support for our students as they transition into this new normal. We are stronger together.”
