Residents at Siena Lakes, an Erickson Senior Living community in Naples, FL, literally put on a show to support deserving young people in Southwest Florida. At a Luncheon and Fashion Show, residents strolled the catwalk as models. Over 150 residents attended the event or volunteered.

The beneficiary of $19,415 in donations was Laces of Love, which has provided 350,000 pairs of new shoes to low-income and disadvantaged children -- from kindergartners to high school seniors -- in Lee and Collier Counties since 2005. Siena Lakes underwrote the luncheon costs so that all ticket proceeds could go to charity. Siena Lakes residents also donated 66 pairs of sneakers and athletic shoes.

“Every year Siena Lakes residents plan, organize and execute a fun and exciting campus event that benefits a local non-profit,” said Executive Director Mike McCormick. “It's definitely a major highlight of the year for our community.”
