Arrest in Crash That Killed Two
Officials say 20-year-old Daniel Dolcater was seen racing or chasing a minivan when he lost control and crashed into a car on St. Pete Beach.

ST. PETE BEACH - The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office arrested Daniel Dalton Dolcater on Tuesday for two counts of DUI Manslaughter, one count of Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding, and one count of Driving While License Suspended Causing Death.
St. Pete Beach Police Officers recorded Dolcater driving at 69 mph in a 35 mph zone around 8:40 p.m. Sept. 30. An officer tried to pull Dolcater over but Dolcater accelerated, lost control and crashed into a Silver Mazda 3.
The driver, Pablo Alonso Mansilla-Aguinaga, 32, from Tampa, and passenger Sandra Paulson, 33, from Illinois died at the scene, near the 5900 block of Gulfport Blvd.

Dolcater was ejected from the SUV when it flipped into the fountain in front of . He was found lying in the roadway unconscious.
He suffered what appeared to be life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to Bayfront Medical Center. His condition was later upgraded to non-life threatening injuries, and Tuesday he was released from the hospital.

Investigators need your help. Officials say Dolcater was seen racing or chasing an older model maroon or purple minivan in the St. Petersburg area of 5th Avenue and 66th Street North before the crash.

Dolcater was originally believed to be from Gulfport, but according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Charge Report, he is currently from St. Petersburg.
Dolcater is being held in the Pinellas County Jail on $100,000 bail for Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer, a felony and $1,000 bail for DUI invovling property damage. Bail has not been set for the two counts of DUI Manslaughter and one count of Driving While License Suspended Causing Death
