5 Things Patch is Covering This Week

Want a sneak peek of what we're up to this week on Gulfport Patch?

Here's a few things you'll be able to check out:

1. The Gulfport City Council Regular meeting is Tuesday, June 21 at 7 p.m. at Gulfport City Hall. Reporter Bob Deakin will be covering the meeting. Among the items on the agenda is the First Reading of an ordinance that would allow golf carts on designated streets with several rules, regulations and restrictions. Read the entire ordinance on the city's website. We'll have the story on Wednesday.

2. Meet this week's Volunteer of the Week! Tune in every Tuesday on Gulfport Patch to learn about a volunteer in our segment "Giving Back in Gulfport". 

3. The Gulfport Senior Center's Ice Cream Social is on Wednesday, June 22 at 1:30 p.m. Check out our photo gallery from the event on Wednesday.

4. Tune in every Thursday for a local business spotlight in "Pleasure Doing Business". Learn more about local businesses, services and restaurants in Gulfport. This past week, we featured 007 Computer Services, and boy did we receive a lot of comments! We love when you share your stories on Gulfport Patch!
