Free Weekends at the YMCA: In honor of National Family Health Month, the YMCA is offering free weekend access to its facilities throughout October. Try out the pool or the fitness center, or any of the programs for children at no cost.

National Fire Prevention Week: Every 82 seconds a home fire breaks out, according to the National Fire Protection Agency.
