Deals, Steals and Unique Finds: Come on out today to the Gulfport City-Wide Yard Sale. People are expected to set up their yards around 8 a.m. and take down whenever they want. More than 115 homes are listed in the brochure and organizers think there may be between 130 and 150 homes involved before the day is over. Print the brochure attached to this article. You can also pick up a brochure today at the Gulfport Public Library or the Gulfport Lions Club at 4630 Tifton Drive S.
All You Can Eat Pancakes: Better fill up before you head out! That's what I always say. Well, maybe. The Gulfport Lions Club is hosting a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. The fundraiser is $5 per person.
Hey Kids! Read to Monty: Monty, a Therapy Dog, will be at the Gulfport Public Library beginning today at 10:30. Children 5 and up are invited to come read to Monty and his owner, Lisa Singer.

Enjoy your extra hour of sleep. Officials also remind people to change their batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors when they change their clocks. This ensures that the devices have proper power.
