5 Things to Know Today: Dec. 3

1.) Beach Boulevard Cleanup: The Gulfport Neighbors is hosting another community volunteer event today. If you want to help pick up litter on Beach Boulevard, then meet at 9 a.m. at the Gulfport Senior Center. Everyone is invited to the Gulfport Neighbors Post-Cleanup Lunch at Pia’s Trattoria at noon.  Price is $12 per person. Check out the event on the Gulfport Neighbors Facebook page to see the menu! 3.) Trees and Traditions: The Heritage Village in Largo is hosting “Trees and Traditions” today from 11 to 3. The Pinellas County Historical Society is sponsoring the event with an open house, refreshments, children’s activities, crafts, holiday music and more. Santa Claus will also be stopping by. The event is free to children under 12 with a suggested minimum donation of $2 per adult. For more information visit the Pinellas County Government website.
