1) Even though Gulfport didn't take home the title for "Best for Food" in the Rand McNally/ USA Today "Best of the Road" contest, there's still time to try out the Best of the Road Sampler Plates in Gulfport. The special menu items are offered at 15 local restaurants until Saturday. Check out our story and vote for your favorite sampler plate!

4) Attention Freshman! Freshman Orientation at Boca Ciega High School is Tuesday August 16th from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Students will be able to tour the school, get information about clubs and get questions answered. For more information check out the school's website.
