5 Things to Know Today: Golf Cart Ordinance, Fresh Market and Summer Solstice
Here's what you need to know today!

1) The public is encouraged to attend the Gulfport City Council Regular meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at Gulfport City Hall. As always, you can click and print the entire meeting agenda from the city's website. Among the items up for discussion is the First Reading of an ordinance that would allow golf carts on designated streets with several rules, regulations and restrictions. 2) Come one come all to the Gulfport Fresh Market today in downtown Gulfport. Remember, the event is operating on summer hours: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m, instead of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
3) Grab your stuff and head outside. It's Go Skateboarding Day! Soak up the sun and spend some time at the skate park at Tomlinson Park Complex in Gulfport.
