5 Things to Know Today: Golf Cart Ordinance, Fresh Market and Summer Solstice

1) The public is encouraged to attend the Gulfport City Council Regular meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at Gulfport City Hall. As always, you can click and print the entire meeting agenda from the city's website. Among the items up for discussion is the First Reading of an ordinance that would allow golf carts on designated streets with several rules, regulations and restrictions. Read the entire ordinance on the city's website. 2) Come one come all to the Gulfport Fresh Market today in downtown Gulfport. Remember, the event is operating on summer hours: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m, instead of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
