5 Things to Know Today: Kick It To Cancer, Best of the Road and 20% Chance of Rain
Here's what you need to know!

2) Do you like kickball? Why not challenge a team and help raise money for the American Cancer Society at the same time. Teams can register for $50 for the first ever "Kick It To Cancer" Kickball Tournament on Saturday, June 25 at the . 3) Restaurants in Gulfport are gearing up for the arrival of the rally team for Rand McNally and USA Today's Best of the Road contest! Crews will be visiting the top 30 towns in five categories. In case you haven't heard, Gulfport was chosen as one of six for Best for Food! Several local businesses are fixing up sampler plates on the menu for this event. But, right now, we have no idea when the rally team will arrive. The big kick-off is tomorrow June 23, in New York. 4) The Gulfport Senior Center's Summer Ice Cream Social is today at 1:30 p.m. at the center. Tickets should have been purchased in advance. Gulfport Patch will swing by the event and have photos later today.
