First Day: Today is the first day of school for Pinellas County Schools. There are a few things parents and students need to know. Boca Ciega High School has new school hours and a new bell schedule, check out their newly revamped website for more information.
New Hires: Boca Ciega High School Principal Michael Vigue welcomes 28 new staff members at the school.
New to our School: Gulfport Elementary has a new principal. Mr. James Pribble is excited to meet parents and students.

Firefighters on Gulfport Blvd.: Watch out for some of Gulfport's finest. Members of the Gulfport Fire Department will be at the intersection of 52nd St. S. and Gulfport Blvd. S. as part of their Drive Safe Campaign. Firefighters will be meeting with parents and students and reminding drivers to be safe on the roads between 7:45 and 8:30 a.m.. So, keep an eye out for children and school zones.
