1) The Gulfport Arts Center presents photographer Chris Wilson's exhibit, "Unexpected Road," which remains in the gallery through July 29. Stop by the Catherine Hickman Theater in Gulfport weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

2) Pinellas County Commissioner Kenneth T. Welch, who represents Gulfport, will hold Community Office Hours on Wednesday, July 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the , Frances Purdy Friends Room, 5501 28th Ave. S., Gulfport. The public is invited to come meet and chat with Mr. Welch.

4) Looking for an opportunity to volunteer this summer? You can contact Keep Pinellas Beautiful at 727-533-0402, or email: Stoplitter@tampabay.rr.com. The group schedules organized cleanups, such as the Florida Coastal Cleanup on Oct. 3. It also has numerous volunteer opportunities for individuals, students, groups and organizations.
