Contest Deadline Today: Entries for the Gulfport Halloween Decoration Contest are due today by noon. We've attached the application form with some additional information on this story "Do You Have the Spookiest Home or Business in Gulfport?"

Contest Trolley Tour Tonight: Residents can ride the Gulfport Red Trolley and help judge the haunted places tonight. Meet at the Gulfport Recreation Center at 6. The tour should begin around 6:30 p.m.

Join the Parade: Have you heard about the Heroes Weekend in Gulfport on Nov. 10, 12 and 13? The public is invited to enjoy a free concert, a parade and a musical performance benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project. Stetson Law student Javier Centonzio joined forces with the American Legion Post 125, the Gulfport Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Gulfport to create the Heroes weekend. If you want to join in the parade start thinking of ideas now and fill out the registration form.

Utility Bill Courtesy Tag Change: Effective on Friday, October 28, the City of Gulfport will discontinue Utility bill courtesy tag reminders to late paying customers. All information concerning any late payments will continue to post on your bill. If you have any questions, please contact 893-1016.
