Crime Watch Meeting: Everyone is invited to the Gulfport Crime Watch Meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at the Gulfport Neighborhood Center, 1617 49th St S, Gulfport.

End Hunger in Tampa Bay: Members of the community are invited to join the newly formed Tampa Bay Network to End Hunger. After a year of planning, the group is ready to begin building a hunger-free community, where there is access to nutritious food for all residents. Membership is free and open to all who are interested in solving the hunger problem. Centennial Lecture Series: The Pinellas County Historical Society and Pinellas County's Heritage Village is launching a series of history lectures. The opening lecture, From Punta Pinal to Peerless Pinellas, covers the years from 1842 to 1911 and takes place Sunday, Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. in the Pinellas Room at Pinellas County’s Heritage Village, 11909  125th St. in Largo.
