5 Things to Know Today: Senior Talent Show Auditions

Auditions Today for Talent Show: Can you sing, dance, juggle or just plain perform? The Catherine Hickman Theater is hosting a Senior Talent Show on Wednesday, Jan 25, at 1 p.m. If you are interested in taking part in the show, come out and audition today from 1-5 p.m. at the Gulfport Senior Center. Dali Museum Anniversary: Today is the one year anniversary of the Dali Museum in downtown St. Petersburg. In celebration, activities for various ages are scheduled throughout the day, from scavenger hunts to origami to craft-beer tastings. These activities are free with museum admission; each museum member can bring a friend for free today.

Open Creative Conversation: Mark your calendar for the City of Imagination Gulfport Art Center's Open Creative Conversation event on Saturday, Jan. 21. The City of Imagination is hosting the event to promote dialogue and free exchange of ideas between creative minds. This will also be an introductory open house for those interested in teaching workshops, classes, or private or group studio time to get information about how to do so. This event being held is in the newly updated Gulfport Art Center located at 2726 54^th Street South, adjacent to the dog parks on Saturday, January 21 from 4-6pm.
