So49 Meeting Cancelled, Glass Pumpkins, 20% Chance of Rain and more in "5 Things to Know Today."

No So49 Meeting Tonight: We know the 49th St. South Business Association (So49) usually meets the second Wednesday of every month . . . but, today's regularly scheduled meeting has been cancelled. Organizers encourage everyone to come out to the November meeting on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Gulfport Neighborhood Center, 1617 49th St. S.

"Blow Your Own" Glass Pumpkin: Hurry, check and see if there are any more spots left at the Industrial Arts Center for their special glass pumpkin or hanging pumpkin workshops. There's a workshop tonight from 6 - 10 p.m. and a workshop on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 6 - 10 p.m.

Commissioner Hosts Office Hours: Mark your calendar for Pinellas County Commissioner Ken Welch's community office hours next Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the St. Petersburg College West Community Library conference room, 6700 Eighth Ave. N., St. Petersburg.
