City Council Workshop Today: The Gulfport City Council will meet on Tuesday, August 9th at 3:30 p.m. at Gulfport City Hall for a workshop. The agenda includes code enforcement and parking options in the Waterfront Redevelopment District. The agenda is available online now for you to view and print before the meeting. 

Free Clothing Swap: Bring clothes and get clothes today in downtown Gulfport. The Free Clothing Swap at the Gulfport Fresh Market is fro 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Peninsula Inn & Spa Courtyard on Beach Blvd. You can bring up to 5 gently used clothing garments to exchange for vouchers that can be used to get other garments. Fresh Market: Grab your cash and head to the weekly Gulfport Fresh Market today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market features fruits, vegetables, seafood, cheese, honey, baked goods, teas, herbs and plants. Vendors also sell local arts and crafts and feature live music.

New Biz on Beach Boulevard: Red Hot Tiki is moving into the old Beach N' Body Boutique on Beach Blvd. near the Village Art Courtyard. It'll still be a few weeks until the grand opening, but we'll keep you posted. Owner Dino Riccio says "the way the building looks, it's perfect."
