Advance Auto Parts Employee Arrested in Theft
Michael Shane Burnett took more than $1,000 from the automotive retailer in Gulfport, police say.
Michael Shane Burnett, 39, was arrested Wednesday after officials say he took more than $1,000 from Advance Auto Parts in Gulfport, where he worked.
Burnett "had knowledge that the deposit was missing," Gulfport Police Detective Hanh Pham said, and video evidence "shows that he's the prime suspect in the case."
According to reports, Burnett had worked for Advance Auto Parts for about five years.

Burnett was released today on $5,000 bail.
