Boca Ciega High School Looking for Volunteers for Football Friday Nights
The school's athletic director is looking for volunteers to man the chain gang for home games.

High school football is big in Florida and just about any fan would love to somehow watch a game up close and personal right on the field.
Now is your chance to do just that.
Boca Ciega High School athletic director Bob Medici is seeking volunteers to man each Pirates home game's chain gang.

The chain gang is an important element on the field. Medici needs four adults to staff the unit.
Responsibilities are pretty simple and most chain gangs simply follow the brief instructions given them by the game's sideline judge. The view is even better than the teams and coaches have.

Boca Ciega has but five home games this year, not counting any potential playoff games. The five scheduled regular season games are:
Sept. 16 vs. Northeast
Sept. 23 vs. Lakewood Ranch
Oct. 14 vs. Pinellas Park
Oct. 21 vs. Largo
Oct. 28 vs. Tarpon Springs
