Gazpacho With A Twist

A Review of the Dining Experience at Tangelo's Restaurant in Gulfport Florida

Having had this lovely cold soup on many a hot and humid day in various parts of the world, I’ve had the pleasure of few surprises, until Tangelo’s. It’s a quiet, little, artsy place with a Latin flare on Beach Blvd. a few doors down from the corner of Shore and Beach. I expected nothing new when I chose it from the menu but knew it, in most restaurants, to be, at the very least, reliable.

What was put before me was not what I expected but much more. Raw delicate sweet corn busrt in my mouth with the first extra chilled spoon-full of bright, fresh broth. A raw body quencher with a sprinkle of tender black beans. Even a craver of the warm and savory would be happy with this dish. Thank you, Owner, Lisa Brennan and Chef Michael, for the wonderful experience.
