It is surprising how many people move to a place, because they are attracted to its uniqueness, only to want to change it after they get there.
I took a cruise around town, and for the life of me I could not find a single sofa or La-Z Boy out in anyone's front yard. Not even a love seat.
The whole concept of taking the living room sofa outside is somewhat familiar, as my first wife was from Tennessee, and they did periodically drag the sleeper sofa out in the front yard during the summer.

Gulfport is sort of a cross between Cedar Key and Key West. Quirky, clever and distinctly different. Like Bob the carpet guy says, "You just gotta love it".
