The Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce celebrates an anniversary, new website, seeks volunteers and says 'thank you' and 'happy retirement' to a familiar face.

Chamber News:
The Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating one year at its new location at 4926 Gulfport Blvd. South. This anniversary coincides with the launching of a new website at www.gulfportareachamberofcommerce.org. This past year has brought many new initiatives to the Chamber and we are looking to be the resource for local businesses.

Throughout this expansion of services we will be missing a key supporter, our 12 year volunteer and office manager, Margo Scannell will be retiring at the end of the month. She will continue to volunteer to man the front desk once a week but is ready to hand over the reigns in an ever busier office. We thank Margo for all she has done over the past years to keep the Chamber open and running five days a week.
What's Next?:
The Chamber continues to roll on as we have two big events this month: March 10 is the Pink Flamingo Tour of Homes and March 31 is Springfest.
