No Endorsements? No Problem -- Vote for Connie Mack for US Senate
US House Rep Connie Mack (R- FL 14th) deserves endorsements by virtue of the fact that he is not a rubber stamp for the Obama tax-and-spend juggernaut.
Connie Mack IV has come under attack from the Florida state press. Still leaping out from the shadow of his father, Mack III, the fourth Mack is now on the attack, despite the list of lackluster endorsements provided by the Miami New Times:
"Mack has been accused of not spending enough time in the district, and he has been sensitive to that, holding town hall meetings over the last few years."
What more could a state want than a Congressman who learns from his failings and reaches out to voters? This quote from one paper is not an indictment but an indication that Mack cares about his voters.

The Naples Daily News reported:
Perhaps if there had been more than one debate between Mack and Nelson we would have seen a side of Mack that held out promise for him to become senatorial timber. But there were no such further opportunities.

Don't blame the player, blame the game. This setback does not set back Mack, but exposes Nelson's arrogance in refusing to engage his challenger more than once.
The Tampa Bay Times shared: Republican Rep. Connie Mack IV of Fort Myers has run an uninspiring campaign and is not a viable alternative.
I can think of many qualities about Mr. Mack that make him a perfect alternative. He did not vote for ObamaCare. He has led the charge to repeal the terrible legislation, and the governor of the state has advanced a similar policy, refusing to implement key elements of the law. Senator Bill Nelson is out of step and out of touch with the rest of the state on this issue.
The Palm Beach Post writes an empty attack against Mack: "Connie Mack IV has no business holding any elected office. The article provides no clear reason why this is the case. The fact that Mack has held on to his seat for four terms actually suggests that he is a noteworthy and creditable Congressman who can serve in a statewide office.
The Orlando Sentinel and the Sun Sentinel ran the same editorial: Mack, a four-term U.S. House member from Fort Myers, has virtually no legislative accomplishments to call his own. Frankly, since when did legislative accomplishments make a difference for determining whether a challenger for a Senate deserved it or not? Now more than ever, Florida and this country need legislators who will lead the charge to repeal legislation, including ObamaCare, Dodd-Frank, and other needless regulations while extending the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts. Nelson will certainly not repeal legislation which he voted for, the same laws which have stalled economic recovery while discouraging investment and job growth in the Sunshine state.
Congressman Connie Mack IV has nothing to fear from this list of "discouraging" non-endorsements. In fact, he should coast on the Romney surge that is sweeping the state, and this rising tide can help him get the edge over Nelson, whose party and policies are out of step with Florida voters.
On November 6th, vote for Connie Mack for US Senate.
