OMG! O'Maddy's Peanut Butter Pie is just TDF!

Me and my posse took my friend Susan to O'Maddy's for her birthday the other night. We, of course, had to finish the evening's meal with a desert. After all, no birthday is complete without an entire waitstaff singing Happy Birthday while they place before you a dancing candle rising from some sort of tasty-treat

Of all the delicious sounding, carb packed confections, we chose the Peanut Butter Pie, one piece of Peanut Butter Pie and spoons to go around. How consciencous and well behaved of us, until we got to that last bite. I kid you not, lips were being licked in the hopes that the birthday girl would forgo the final fork full.

She did. Now, it was one of those situations where no one wants to seem rude or overly piggish and so, politely refuses the last bite. Polite doesn't get the pie. Honesty does. I scooped it up and let it melt on my tongue while watching the subtle envy play across the faces of the decent but deprived.

If you haven't tried it yet, you'll kick your self for having waited, so long, when you finally do. Call ahead to make sure they haven't sold out, if that's what you're heading over there for. It sells as soon as people know they have it, people like me who between bites aren't worrying if there's any left for you.
