Vacation in our Nation: Exploring New Jersey

This has turned out to be such a relaxing trip!

The past few days haven't been very exciting so I decided to wait a few days until my next update. Monday was a rainy one, so we stayed in town. We went to the local diner, Yetter's, for lunch, then we went into Branchville for a little shopping. They had all of two stores, the drugstore and Orr's Western Clothing Store. Needless to say, that didn't take very long. After that we headed over to cousin Ed and Nancy's house for a nice dinner with my Great-Aunt Pauline. After dinner, mom and I decided to watch a movie on our laptop at the cabin. We watched Zero Dark Thirty, that was very, very good. Then we fell asleep to the calming sound of rain falling on the roof. Tuesday wasn't as laid back. Ed, Nancy, Pauline, Mom, Dad and I went on an adventure to my cousin Charlie and his wife Susie's bakery in Pennsylvania. On our way there we stopped at Mill's Creek and then at a foot bridge that took us across the Delaware river by the Delaware Water Gap. Then we finally made our way to the bakery where we were given free (warm) cookies and a tour of the bakery. After that we headed to Charlie and Susie's river house for a small birthday celebration for Charlie. We had salmon, corn on the cob, and a bunch of different types of salads. Then we had homemade chocolate cake with homemade vanilla icing, and homemade strawberry shortcake. At this river house they have a homemade hovercraft AND a homemade catapult. It was quite the party. Today was another relaxing day. Nancy took mom, dad and me to a small waterfall and what the people of New Jersey call a beach. Then we went to lunch at Jumboland. After that mom, dad and I went to Tillman's Ravine where we hiked a little ways to a small waterfall and then decided that was enough hiking for one day and headed back to the truck. I could've hiked for a lot longer but dad was tired so we went back. Then we went to Ed and Nancy's fruit stand and Dale's market to get some things to make a salad for a small party. Once we got everything we went to Nancy's to make the salad and then we went to Rita's house for the party. We had hamburgers, a salad and some fruit. Also, Rita made a homemade ice cream cake that was absolutely amazing. Once again, no one answered my last trivia questions, either they're too hard or no one's reading my blog. But I'll continue to write because I enjoy it.

Here were Sunday's questions.
